Book Conditions

Books sold at Books/Reading are either Brand New or Used. Specific descriptions for such conditions are as follows:

Brand New: Certified brand new, unused and unread.

Fine"As New" but allowing for the normal effects of time on an unused book that has been protected. A fine book shows no damage.

Very Good:  A copy that is worn but untorn. Has been read and used but still in superb condition. The pages and cover are still intact. Unsold books that has been read by customers may fall under this category. For many collectors this is the minimum acceptable condition for all but the rarest items.

Good: An average used worn book that is complete. The pages and cover are still intact and there might be highlights or markings present on the book.

Acceptable: Looks well worn, may show wear and tear (and sometimes old) but still readable. The pages and cover are still intact. There might be highlights or markings present on the book.
